Alex Gamela

Portuguese journalist, and though i've been away from the business for a few years i'm trying to build/save my career. I'm 30 years old, and, fresh out of university in 2000, i worked in tv production, then wrote for a music mag, built websites for a while,  and currently i'm a newscaster at a local radio. I have this blog O Lago | The Lake where i ramble about a lot of issues conected to journalism, music or the web.  Once i found an ad for a journalist 2.0 for a newspaper in the States, and i had it all, but the experience (and i wasn't going to the USA anyway). The web is far richer than any other medium so far, so let's go explore it.

Darcy Vergara P.

Nicolas Kayser-Bril

A young PG in Media Economics. I do more or less the same thing for Gilles Bruno in France, over at www.observatoiredesmedias.com. I also write a blog about web technologies on Rue89, a new, web2.0, and successful (400k UU) information website (if you read French it's at http://www.rue89.com/web-obscur)

These days I'm studying at the University of East Anglia, working on a thesis about audience and brand fragmentation on the web. Robin Goad from Hitwise just provided me with primary data and I shall work on the sociology/management part with London City University's Neil Thurman.

Lola Mola (Silvia Cobo)

Hello everybody! My name is Silvia Cobo (Lola Mola is my nickname) and I’m a spanish journalist 28 years old. Last year I studied an MBA for media companies, at Pompeu Fabra University here in Barcelona. I’m passionate about media and journalism, management issues and convergence and integration at the media. I have a blog about all this topics ( www.lolacomomola.blogspot.com).

Tristan Tobin

Second year Journalism student at the University of Queensland in Australia. This blog will be my first real world experience. Interested in where the industry is going and how people will be getting their news.

Mary Wilson

Junior at Fordham University in New York City.  My journalism experience is limited to this past year working at a radio station, covering the city with 30 second stories every day.  I'm interested in journalism (which means I'm scared, very scared!) and a fan of the blog. I would slow you down if it's tech skills you need, but if you want interest, curiosity, someone without an ego--I might fit the bill.

Gabriela Zago

Senior year Journalism student at the Catholic University of Pelotas in Brazil, and also a Law student. I have a blog, mostly about digital law and online journalism - located at http://gabrielaz.blogspot.com - and a second life's blog - http://www.verbeat.org/inversus/reversus (both in Portuguese).
