Here are a few blogs about journalism and new media in Portugal. Most of them belong or are associated with universities and journalism/communication courses. Here's a brief overview.

 

 

Pontomedia - The author, António Granado, is one of the leading voices on webjournalism. He's currently creating/reshaping a digital taskforce for Público, one of the biggest reference dailies in Portugal. He's also an investigator in Science journalism, Internet and new media and a Journalism teacher at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Travessias Digitais - Another teacher, Helder Bastos, he works at Porto's University, teaching Journalism and Communication Sciences.

 

Atrium- Media e Cidadania - (Atrium-Media and Citizenship) written by Luís Santos, currently giving classes at the Communication Sciences Department

at Minho University.

 

 

Mediascópio - Another blog related to the Communication Sciences Department of Minho University, maintained by different researchers. And that's what the blog is, a research project.

 

Comunicamos- This blog is written by the Communication Sciences students at UTAD, another portuguese university. Teachers are also involved and they've created a small blog network, all of them regarding the curriculum of the course.

 

TubarãoEsquilo - (SharkSquirrel) this is a blog network, problably the first and only real organized blog network in Portugal,  where different kinds of blogs are aggregated, covering different issues, some of them journalism and communication.
